MPG Home Design is a full service Architecture and Interior Design studio specializing in residential home design.  We also work on retail, commercial, corporate and hospitality projects.  In addition to renovating homes, designing additions, kitchen and bath design, we offer small scale styling for your home, any room big or small. Our passion is in a modern traditional style, sourcing  unique "soulful" materials, mixing art with modern, vintage & antique goods, and green "Eco-friendly" design for healthy living. 

Located in Newburyport on the North Shore of  Boston, MA and at our studio in Lincolnville, Maine. We also offer services to the rest of New England:  New Hampshire, CT, VT, RI and even New York, Miami, California and wherever our clients would like to take us.

Mindi Poston Gay, Assoc. A.I.A.  


Mindi Poston Gay has been an architectural and interior designer for over 23 years.  Poston Gay is a graduate of the Boston Architectural College (BAC) where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. She has worked with many renowned architectural firms including Payette Associates, Boston, MA; EGA Architects, Newburyport, MA;  and high end residential firms TMS Architects of Portsmouth, NH; and Carpenter & MacNeille Architects, Builders and Interiors, Essex, MA. Poston Gay founded MPG Home Design in 2008 and has also been collaborating with Derek Rubinoff, AIA, LEED AP, NCARB  on commercial, retail and hospitality projects as well as on MPG residential projects with his own firm Derek Rubinoff Architect in the Boston area.  

Poston Gay’s work in architecture and interior design has been featured in Architectural Digest, Design New England Magazine, New England Home Design Magazine, North Shore Magazine, Newburyport Magazine, The Boston Globe, USA Today Home Magazine,  featured in several high profile design blogs, and she has even been featured on the Discovery Channel and the Planet Green Channel.
